About this task

Configure the database server for use in AcceleratorKMS.

Procedure

  1. Restore provided database.

    A default database is required to install AcceleratorKMS.

  2. Create a new login for the SQL Server® instance and configure the following:

    • Select SQL Server® authentication

    • Password

    • Select do not enforce password policy

  3. Add a new user to the database with the database role of db_owner.

  4. Verify the database is accepting connections through the TCP/IP protocol.
