When the culture code is set to Arabic, use only the Arabic alphabet, digits, and
symbols for entering text (e.g., statement text, comments, section names, content
titles, data collection inputs, translations for configured objects, etc.). Not adhering
to this may result in rearrangement of words and phrases in text strings while typing,
in display or edit mode, or when entering input values.
The UI will continue to follow the left-to-right (LTR) design, with text alignment remaining left-aligned, regardless of the language selection.
Best practices and limitations when selecting Arabic as the language:
-
Use of LTR characters: Characters from a left-to-right (LTR) alphabet are not supported in text strings, variable names, keywords, or inputs when the culture code is set to Arabic.
-
Reference links in Arabic statements: Arabic statement text that includes a reference link ({#ref}) may not display correctly until populated with a target containing an Arabic value.
-
Variables with English characters: Arabic statement text that includes variables with LTR characters in their names may not display correctly until populated with Arabic values.
