You can configure user accounts so that when a set number of log on attempts is reached, the account is temporarily locked for a set period of time.
-
To configure the number of failed log on attempts use the Number of failed login attempts before the account is locked property.
-
To set the time the account remains locked use the Number of minutes before a locked account will automatically be unlocked property.
Both properties can be configured by your system administrator in system options. For more information, see Configure the system options.
