In the Dashboards feature set, select Create Dashboard.

Type the name of the dashboard and a title. The Title is displayed in the Web Client when the dashboard is opened.
You can also enter a description to help identify this dashboard.

Select the type of dashboard required.

To make the dashboard available to other users, select Published. You can leave this option cleared until you have finished making your changes and select it at a later time, as described in Update a dashboard.
The Published flag provides a quick and simple option to control whether the dashboard is available to end users without modifying the access groups.

Select the template to use to layout the new dashboard.
For a context panel dashboard, the most appropriate templates to use are indicated with a star .

Click Next to move to the next page of the wizard.

Select at least one interface definition for the dashboard. This option is not applicable to home screen dashboards as they aren't related to a specific object.

Select the access groups who will be able to access the dashboard.

Click Finish to create the dashboard.
You can update the dashboard title and access control as described in Update a dashboard.

Configure the widgets to display on the dashboard. For each widget, click , and either:

Select an existing widget to display.
Click to update a widget on the dashboard.

Check your widgets are returning the expected results as described in Check the status of a widget.
You can select > Preview Page to see a preview of the dashboard. You can also preview an individual widget by hovering over it and selecting . When previewing widgets, they are displayed as view-only and you can't interact with them. Widgets aren't previewed if they rely on an object to be selected first.
