The Temporary change request review workflow is used to either revert a temporary change back to its original state or extend it until a later date. For information on the Temporary change request workflow, see Temporary change request workflow.

The steps that make up the workflow are described in the following table.

If you choose to edit the workflow, do not remove any steps marked as mandatory.

Allows a user with the MoC Owner role to review the temporary change and decide if it should be extended or reverted to its original state.

If accepted, the next step is Set change request status to extension requested. If rejected, the next step is Clear temporary change request.

This step should not be removed from the workflow as it is where the decision to revert or keep the change is made.

Set change request status to extension requested

Changes the status of the change request to Extension Requested.

If this step is removed, the change request status will not be modified.

The next step is Approve Extension.

Approve Extension

Allows a user with the MoC Approver role to review the extension proposed for this change request.

The next step is either Create scheduler task to extend the change request if the user approves the change request, or Evaluate change if they reject it.

This step should not be removed from the workflow as it ensures the change is correctly extended.

Create scheduler task to extend the change request

Schedules a task to start another Temporary change request review workflow on the specified date.

The scheduler must be enabled in order to create the task.

The next step is Set change request status to implemented.

Yes

If this step is removed, the task will not be created and the Temporary change request review workflow will not be automatically started.

Set change request status to implemented

Changes the status of the change request to Implemented.

If this step is removed, the change request status will not be modified.

The next step is Clear temporary change request.

Clear temporary change request

Deletes any markups created for this change request.

The next step is Set change request status to closed, if the markups are successfully deleted, or Evaluate change if there are any errors during deletion.

Set change request status to closed

Changes the status of the change request to Closed.

This is the last step in the workflow.
