You can use this feature to view, search,create and edit the TNS (Tag Naming Systems) items that already exist in the database in an item list. The results of the Tag Naming Systems page are parts of a tag name associated with existing objects in the database. The following tag properties are displayed in the tabular form on the page: Name, Description, Display Name, Constant, Attribute Name, Document Attribute, Tag Relationship Name, Related Interface Definition, Alter Case Option.
List Edit Tag Naming Systems
To create or edit the tag part names and relationships, do the following:

In the Data Capture feature set, click Tag Naming Systems.

Click the LIST EDIT option in the Tag Naming Systems page to display the editable list of all the TNS items.
To edit only one TNS item, you can select the TNS item and click Actions > List Editing > List Edit.

In the List Edit Tag Naming Systems page, the following options are available using which you can create or manage the TNS items.

Highlight the edited cells in the TNS list
(Add New Row)
Adds a new row to the TNS item list
(Duplicate Row)
Adds a copy of the selected row to the TNS item list. All the tag properties except the name are copied from the selected row
(Delete Row)
Deletes the selected row from the TNS item list.
UNDO ALL
Undo all the changes in the TNS item list in the current session
SAVE
Save the changes in the TNS item list.
When editing the tag property Attribute Name, you can either select from the list of available attributes or click ADD NEW ENUM ENTRY to add a custom tag attribute. The name of the custom tag attribute is auto generated by the software in enumerated order. For example, the custom tag attribute is set as SPFNCustomTagParameter [0-9]. By default, the ADD NEW ENUM ENTRY option is displayed as the following schema properties IsOpenList is set to True and the editable enum list type is set to PictureMask.
