A customized step status is a good way of showing users, at a glance, the status of an object in a workflow. Custom step status can be used in existing or custom workflow templates. For more information about configuring a custom workflow template, see Create a workflow template.

Select File > New > Workflow > Step Status in the Desktop Client to display the New Workflow Step Status dialog box.

Type a unique name and description for the step status.
You can view the workflow completion status details in the To Do List workflow step
details grid by giving a status percentage for each workflow status in the New Workflow Step Status dialog box.

To give a workflow status percentage, type any range (1-100) in the Status percentage box in the Workflow status details section.
You can view the workflow percentages in the Accept Percentage and Reject Percentage lists in the Create Workflow Template or Update Workflow Template dialog boxes.

Click Apply, and then click Finish.
The new status is now displayed in the status accept and reject status lists in each individual step of a workflow and in the system options, as well as in the boxes in the Create Workflow Template or Update Workflow Template forms. For more information, see Set step status options.
