Create a new target system - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

1. From the main toolbar, click Create New Target System to open the Create New Target System dialog box.

2. In the Basic Details page, enter the name and description of the new target system in the Name and Description boxes.

3. In the Target System URL box, enter a valid URL address in the following format: net.tcp://[Target System Server Name]/[Target Site Name]Server.

4. Click the Supports Validation option if you want the target system to support the validation of the data.

5. Click the Implicit Delete option if you want the target system to support the implicit deletion of data.

   For more information on implicit delete functionality, see Define Implicit Delete Rules.

6. Click the Is Enabled option to enable the target system to be used to create new job definitions.

   If the target system is disabled, jobs running using this target system are still allowed to complete.

7. Click Next.

8. In the Access Groups page, select an access group and click Add to add the access group to the Selected Access Groups list.

   Relating one or more of the access groups allows you to control who has permissions to create and edit the target system.

9. Click Next. View the Summary, and check the details.

   You can click any page heading to edit its properties, as required.

10. Click Finish to save the target system.

Toggle Show Master Target Systems to view or hide the delivered master target systems.
