Modify report definition properties and access rights - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

This procedure explains how you can modify information about the report definition, such as the description, the access groups to which it is available, and the access groups that have permissions to edit it.

1. From the Maintain or Create Report Definitions dialog box, select the report definition you want to edit and click Edit to open the Report Administration Wizard .

2. Click Back to open the wizard screen with a tab for basic properties and view and edit access information.

3. Modify the report definition using one or more of the following steps:

   • Click on the Basic Properties tab and edit the description of the report definition.

   • Click on the View Access tab and use the check boxes to specify which access groups have permission to see and use the report definition.

   • Click on the Edit Access tab and use the check boxes to specify which access groups have permissions to edit the report definition.

Report definitions must have at least one access group selected on the Edit Access tab to be edited in the Report Administration module.
