You can add attributes that already exist in the system to selected classifications. The list of available attributes that are available is restricted by the original query criteria defined by the selected classification or class definition. To add an existing attribute to the displayed classifications:

In the main toolbar, click Add Existing Attributes
.
Any attributes that exist in the system that apply to the selected schema objects are shown in the Add Existing Attribute dialog box. The following columns display the attributes details:

Name
-
Description
-
Tab Name - The tab name assigned to the attribute. This can be used to group attributes if the option is set on the form

Property Definition - The property definition assigned to the attribute

Path Definition - The path to the attribute's location

Select one or more existing attributes from the list in the Add Existing Attributes dialog box, and click Finish.
The attribute grid view is updated with the new attribute column items, where you can select, modify, and refine their relationship behavior as required.

An error message displays if you try to modify an invalid attribute's relationship behavior. You cannot continue until all validation errors have been resolved. For more information on the validation of invalid attributes, see Save the changes.

Edge definition column items are not supported.
