  1. In the Attribute Details page, select Relationship Definition as the type of attribute in the Attribute Type section.

  2. In the Attribute Details section, enter in the attribute name, description and tooltip boxes. For example, TagSupplier and Supplier Tag.

  3. In the Dynamic Form Section box, type the name of the dynamic section or use a search to find the dynamic section. Select Purchasing from the list, and click Next.

  4. In the Schema Details page, type the name and description previously entered for the new attribute in the Relationship Definition section.

    Before creating any schema objects, you should ensure that the schema object does not already exist in the system to avoid data duplication.

  5. In the Relationship Definition Information section, select IDevTag from the list in the Interface Definition at End 1 box.

  6. In the Interface Definition at End 2 box, enter the interface definition or use a search and select the interface definition from the list. For example, ISPFSupplier.

    You can select The direction of the Relationship definition will be 12 option to control the direction of the relationship.

  7. Click Next.

  8. In the Advanced Settings page, enter the name Tag for role 1 and Supplier for role 2 in the Role Display Name Details section.

    The role names are displayed when you right-click on the new relationship in the Desktop Client.

  9. In the Cardinality Details section, select zero as the Min1 and Min2 settings and one as the Max1 and Max2 settings.

    In this example, the maximum cardinalities are set to one, because the supplier has only one tag and the tag has only one supplier. However, if the Max1 value is set to *, the supplier can have many tags, but each tag would only have one supplier.

  10. View the Summary, and click Finish.
