This rule is defined to concatenate the content extracted from the datasheet using the RowColMap rule. For example, if you want to combine a string extracted using the RowColMap rule R1 with another string extracted using the RowColMap rule R2, you can define a single concatenate rule for both the RowColMap rules R1 and R2.
You must configure at least two RowColMap rules in the datasheet to define a concatenate rule.

Select the cell in which you want to configure this type of rule.

In the Rule Name box, type a name for the rule.

In the Rule Type list, select Concatenate.

In the Target Object list, select the target object. This is the Business Object as defined in the Property Lists module. For more information, see Property Lists.

In the Related Attribute list, select the related attribute. This is the property related to the Business Object.

In the Rules to Concatenate table, click Add Rule to add a row, and do the following:

Rule Name- Select a rule name from the RowColMap rules list.

Separator- Type any character to be used as a separator between the content extracted by the RowColMap rules.

Click Apply.

You can select any one or more of the following check boxes:

Output Data - Select this check box to display data in the output.

Force Blank -Select this option to extract the cell to the content file and to leave the value as a blank.

Remove Spaces – Select this option to remove any spaces from the extracted text.

You can type a value in the Default Value box to use if the cell does not have any value at the time of processing the data file.

You can view the concatenated output in the Value box.

After the rule is applied, the datasheet cell for which a concatenate rule is configured is highlighted in grey.

You can delete a row in the Rules to Concatenate table by clicking Delete Rule .

To update the configured rule, select the cell for which the rule is configured, and click Edit Rule in the Configure Rule pane.
