The following table explains the impact of setting the default response days properties in the New Contract page on the project communication workflows:
If the default response day property value is empty, the current date is propagated as the target date on the workflow step.
Project communication type |
The default response days value is used to calculate |
---|---|
Outgoing technical query |
The target date set on the Initial review workflow step. |
Incoming technical query |
The target date set on the Initial review workflow step. |
Outgoing action |
The target date set on the Perform action and respond workflow step. |
Outgoing transmittal |
The target date set on the Transmittal issued workflow step. |
For example, if the default response days is 10, the system adds 10 days to the current date and sets the result as the target date on the workflow step, excluding any non-working days.
