One revision scheme for the whole system - HxGN SDx - Update 64 - Administration & Configuration

This option provides one default revision scheme for all documents in any plant of a site.

• Create a revision scheme.

• Relate it to the ConfigurationTop configuration so that it will be available for that and all other configurations.

There are two options for what to do when merging revisions from the project to the plant:

1. Keep the revision details as defined at the project.

   • This requires the revisions to be unique across the system or within each plant. The key of the revision must be configured to either not contain any reference to the configuration or just ConfigLevel1.

   • The Take next major revision on merge property on the revision scheme needs to be unselected.

2. Take out a new major revision on merge.

   • It does not matter what the revision key is, as on each merge, a new major revision is taken out.

   • The Take next major revision on merge property on the revision scheme needs to be selected.
