Add a column to an existing database - CADWorx - Help

You can manually add a column to an existing database.

1. Open [Project Folder]\Database.tbl using any text editor such as Notepad.

2. Add the needed columns to the needed component sections of the file. Keep text aligned within COL1, COL2, and COL3 to maintain the proper formatting. Use spaces. Do not use tabs.

3. Open the project database in the database software and add the needed columns. If you are using Microsoft Access, use the Design View.

Edit the table file and database file carefully to avoid database corruption.
