Click Assemblies
on the Model panel.
The Assemblies palette displays.

Click Stair
.
The Stair palette displays.

Click Straight
.

Select a Template.
OR
Fill in the stair data as needed. For more information, see Stair.

Check or clear Auto Handrail. If checked, select a Handrail Template.

Select Members from the Place By list.

Click Insert.

Select the top support member in the 3D model where you want to place the stair.

Click the location on the member where you want to place the stair. In the example below, the endpoint of the perpendicular secondary framing is selected, which places the start of the right side of the stair at that point.

Select the bottom support member to define the height and angle of the stair.
The software places the stair.
