Click Area Objects
on the Model panel.
The Area Objects palette displays.

Click Plates
.
The Plates palette displays.

Click Structural
.

Select the following: Data Table and Plate Thickness.

Type the Thickness of the structural plate.

Select the Material.
-
Select the Group and Layer.
-
Click Details, and update Long Description, Short Description, Part Number, and Tag.

Select Pick Points from the Place By list.

Click Insert.
-
Select points in the drawing to form a closed shape, and then press ENTER when finished.

Select Positive or Negative.
CADWorx Structure places the structural plate.
