Toggles between advanced clipping mode and the pre-4.2 clipping mode that uses single limit box and slice. With the single limit box or slice scheme, defining a limit box overrides any existing limit box. Similarly, defining a slice or section view overrides existing slice or section view clipping. This changes does not affect fence clipping.
After running this command, the software prompts you about the current clipping scheme. You can also switch the clipping scheme using Clipping Manager > Options > Use Single LimitBox/Slice. The menu item is selected if this clipping scheme is used.
Turning on Use Single LimitBox/Slice mode only affects commands to define a new limit box, slice, or section view. It does not affect Fence. Also, when you define a new limit box, slice, or section view, the software only overrides a specially-named clipping, and suppresses all other clippings of the same type. By using the Clipping Manager, you can still turn on other clippings. This mode does not affect any of the functions in the Clipping Manager dialog box. For more information, see Clipping Manager.
