Follow these steps:

  1. Ensure all the pre-requisites are met

    • Access to Azure Subscription with access to: Azure Application Insights. Azure Application Insights is an optional component that provides a greater level of centralized logging from all containers in the Connect deployment. If there is no access to Azure Application Insights, Connect will deploy successfully and continue to run.

    • A GIT Repository for storing configuration settings (See Create a Git Repository for storing configuration settings)

    • OAuth Token (See Configuring an OAuth2 token providers for EcoSys and EcoSys Connect )

    • An Ubuntu Server that meets the version in the Supported Platform table and meet the required spec for the chosen Deployment Model per the Deployment Sizing table.

      The Ubuntu server hostname must be all lower case and cannot use underscores.

  2. Setup Connect database in Oracle or SQL Server (See Setup Connect Configuration Database )

  3. Create the Microk8s Cluster (See Create an MKS Cluster)

  4. Install Connect Config-Server, Dispatcher and LogAgent (See Install Config-Server, Dispatcher, and LogAgent )

  5. Install Connect DataStore and Agent (See Install DataStore and Agent )

  6. Accessing the Connect UI and configuring Connect in Ecosys (See Access Connect UI and configure Connect in EcoSys)

  7. Setup Velero backup and restores of the Kubernetes cluster (See Setup Velero backup and restores of the Kubernetes cluster)
