A well-defined change management system serves multiple purposes. It helps to ensure that all Contract Changes that do take place have been approved by authorized users. Also, it allows for all changes to be carefully tracked. Within the Contract Change Management process, all changes to the Current Contract Budget are easily tracked.

Contract Changes

The Contract Changes sub-module is used to manage updates to the project Current Contract Budget and Current Contract Forecast in EcoSys. This includes the establishment of a change header with a series of dedicated attributes such as Change Type.  Change line items can then be created to represent the value of the change.  Once complete, a project change is submitted for approval. Upon approval, the Change Line Items are copied to the Current Contract Budget and/or Current Contract Forecast based upon the change type.

Contract Change Status

The Contract Change Status dashboard displays changes associated with the selected project. Bar charts and pie charts portray project change data in a graphical format.
