Currency should be deleted only if they were created by mistake. If a security group is used in the system, it cannot be deleted.
Follow the procedure below to delete a currency.

Navigate to Admin > Core Admin > Currency and Rates > Currencies.

Select the currency to be deleted.

Click the Edit drop-down.

Click the Delete Selected button. A confirmation dialog box appears.

Click the OK button.
