Approve or Reject Submitted Utilization - EcoSys - 4.02 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon PPM

This procedure allows the resource manager to check and approve or reject the submitted resource utilization. This process also displays the Resource Availability chart.

1. Click the APPROVAL PORTAL tab.

2. Click the Submitted Utilization hyperlink for the project that needs to be approved or rejected.

3. (Optional) In the Submitted Utilization panel, click the Resource ellipsis and select the particular resource to view the resource utilization.

4. If required, edit the request hours in the date boxes.

5. Type your comments in Approver Comment box.

6. Click SAVE.

7. Click the Availability (Submitted/Staging) hyperlink to view the submitted resource utilization details that appear in the Resource Utilization Submitted dialog.

8. Click either the Approve or Reject hyperlink as required.

9. Click the Discipline hyperlink.

10. In the Resource Availability Submitted panel, click the Check Availability ellipsis, and select Yes.

11. Click SAVE. The Resource Availability details appear in the Resource Availability graph.
