This process will re-open a previously approved forecast variance change, restores the time-phased forecast from before the approval and removes the incremental updates to the current forecast. Once re-opened, the forecast variance change will be cancelled, preventing any further use of the change.

  • To prevent permanent, unrecoverable data loss: run this action only once after approval of a forecast variance change.

  • When the forecast variance is canceled, the Current Forecast reverts to the Prior Forecast values, and Prior Forecast becomes zero.

  • Ensure that the visual workflow is canceled through the System Notifications prior to running the Cancel Forecast Variance action.

  1. Click the Actions list and select Cancel Forecast Variance.

  2. Click the Project ellipsis to select the required project. By default, the last selected project appears.

  3. Click the Change ellipsis to select the required forecast variance change.

Only the most recently approved forecast variance change will be available in the Change ellipsis.

  4. (Optional) Type in a Comment.

  5. Click RUN and then OK.
