In Screen layouts, you must enable the Permalinks option in the General settings of the Screen Layout dictionary to enable a permalink.

When sharing a deep link URL with a user, the target user must have the following for the deep link to load successfully:

  • Access to that Screen Layout through the user’s menu. It must either be directly on their menu or could be nested in a Screen Layout that is on the user’s menu.

  • Access to the parameters that are being used in the screen layout.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Screen layout > General settings.

  2. Enable the option Shareable (via permalink URL)?.

    By default, this option is disabled.

    In the PARAMETERS tab, under Permalinks Options section, select the appropriate value for parameter resolution. The URL that EcoSys generates in the screen layout will use the proper values based on this setting.
