Create an Estimate Project without an Estimate Structure - EcoSys - 3.02 - Help - Hexagon PPM

This procedure allows you to create an estimate project without an estimate structure. It presumes that the estimate project structure will be established manually or via the estimate project structure import process. It is commonly utilized when the structure of an estimate project varies from project to project and is determined by the project manager or project team.

This action populates the estimate project with an ID (format established by the EcoSys administrator), and a project name supplied by the user. Default project attributes established by the EcoSys administrator are copied to the new project. After the estimate project is created, a log entry appears on the Log tab and an email notification is sent to the project creator to confirm that the project was successfully created.

1. Click the Actions list and select Create Estimate Project.

   

2. Type in the required Project Name.

   

3. Click the Security Organization ellipsis to select the required security organization. By default, the Organization appears.

4. (Optional) Type in the Comment.

5. Click RUN and then OK.

To view the log entry, click the Project ID hyperlink and click the Log tab in the Project Details panel.
