ICMS Common tab is used to capture the details of a project such as project type, cost report details, construction pricing, project status, site status, site conditions, and construction procurement details. This data allows us to analyze the entire construction and other life cycle costs at a project, regional, state, national, or international level.

Follow the procedure below to capture the project data.

  1. In the Project Details panel, click the ICMS Common tab.

    By default, the last selected project appears in the Project ellipsis. To change the project, click the Project ellipses and select the required project.

  2. (Optional) In the Report section, provide the following details.

    1. Click the Status of Cost Report ellipsis and select the status of the cost report.

    2. Type the Client's Name.

    3. Click the Main Project Type (Principal Sub-Project) ellipsis and edit the main project type.

    4. Type a Brief Scope of the project.

    5. Click the Location and Country ellipsis and select the country where the project is planned to execute.

  3. In the Construction Cost Price Level section, provide the following details.

    1. Click the ISO Currency Code ellipsis and select the currency.

    2. (Optional) Click the Price Basis ellipsis and select an option.

  4. (Optional) In the Construction Program section, click the Project Status ellipsis and select the appropriate status of the project.

  5. (Optional) In the Site section, provide the following details.

    1. Click the State of Use ellipsis and select the project field.

    2. Click the Type of Use ellipsis and select the type of use.

    3. Click the Legal Status of Site ellipsis and select the site's legal status.

    4. Click the Site Topography ellipsis and select the topography of the site.

    5. Click the Ground Conditions (predominant) ellipsis and select the ground condition.

    6. Click the Access Problems ellipsis and select the site accessibility.

    7. Click the Extreme Climatic Conditions ellipsis and select the climate condition at site.

    8. Click the Environmental Constraints ellipsis and select the environmental constraint.

    9. Click the Statutory Planning Constraints ellipsis and select the appropriate constraint.

  6. (Optional) In the Construction Procurement section, provide the following details.

    1. Click the Funding ellipsis and select the funding source for the project.

    2. Click the Pricing Method ellipsis and select the appropriate pricing method.

    3. Click the Mode of Procurement ellipsis and select the project procurement mode.

    4. Click the Joint Venture Foreign Constructor ellipsis and select if it is a joint venture or not.

    5. Click the Predominant Source of Constructors ellipsis and select the source of constructors.

  7. Click SAVE.
