This procedure allows you to add and schedule a new activity to a project object in the Spreadsheet tab.

  1. Click the ACTIVITY SCHEDULE tab and then click the SPREADSHEET tab.

  2. In the Activities Spreadsheet panel, click the Insert Row icon.

  3. Click the Path ID-Name ellipsis and select the project to which you want to add an activity.

  4. Type the values for the below attributes for the newly created activity:

    • Activity ID

    • Activity Name

    • Duration

  5. Click the Duration Units list and select the units.

  6. Click the Actual Start Date and Actual Finish Date ellipsis and select the start and finish dates.

  7. Select the % Complete Type from the list.

  8. Click SAVE. The fields WBS ID, WBS Name, Actual Duration (Hrs), and % Complete are auto-populated.

  9. If you want to update the WBS of an Activity,

    1. Click its respective Update hyperlink.

    2. Click the Target Path ID ellipsis and select the Path ID that you want to assign to the Activity.

    3. Click RUN and then OK.

    • An activity must be added to a CCL Path ID, else the column will appear in red.

Delete Project Activity

To delete a project activity and its transactions from the system, in the Activities Spreadsheet panel, click the Delete hyperlink against the Activity that you want to delete.

If there are mapping transactions for the project activity, Delete hyperlink does not appear.
