This procedure allows you to view and update the general attributes of the project.

  1. In the Project Details panel, click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected estimate project appears in the Project ellipsis. To change the estimate project, click the Project ellipsis and select the required estimate project.

  2. In the General Information section, if required, edit the Project Name. By default, the project name entered during the project creation appears.

  3. (Optional) Type the required Alternate ID.

  4. Click the ellipsis to select the required values in the below fields:

    • (Optional) Location - Select the location where the project will be setup.

    • Security Org - Select the required security organization.

      Status of the estimate project auto-populates.

    • (Optional) Responsible Org - Select the required organization that is responsible to maintain the project.

    • (Optional) Estimate Type - Select the estimate type for the project.

    • (Optional) Estimate Classification - Select the estimate classification of the project.

    • (Optional) Client - Select the client for the project.

    • (Optional) Project Calendar - Select the project calendar that you want to apply for the project.

    • (Optional) Project Type - Select the type of project.

    • (Optional) Portfolio - Select the required portfolio.

  5. (Optional) Click the Project Logo icon and follow step 6 to attach a project logo.

    The saved project logo must be stored in the server, see Server Settings to Store Logo.

  6. (Optional) Attach the project related document.

    1. Click the Attachment icon.

    2. Click UPLOAD and then click Choose File to select a file to upload.

      The Document Title auto-populates with the name of the uploaded file.

    3. (Optional) Type the description of the document in the Document Description.

    4. To view or save the attachment, click the attachment hyperlink.

  7. (Optional) Type the required Objective.

  8. In the Dates section, select the required Project Start Date and Project End Date.

  9. Click SAVE.

Server Settings to Store Image

To store the saved project logo in the server, follow the steps below:

  1. Create a folder with the name Reportimages in C:Ecosys/Esfm_Home on each application server within the clustered environment.

  2. Navigate to Admin > System Utilities.

  3. Click the EDIT SERVER SETTINGS tab.

  4. Update your server details in the highlighted URL below.

  5. Delete # in the URL to enable the server.

  6. Click the Save hyperlink.
