The first step in scheduling is to define a calendar for your project. You can select the attributes such as Time zone, date, time, duration and so on to set the Calendar for the project.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Configure - Edit Spreadsheet

  2. Select the existing calendar or create a new spreadsheet.

  3. Click Create New

  4. Enter the ID, Name, and select the Type as Calendar.

  5. Click SAVE.

  6. Click the Columns tab and then click Add New Column

  7. Expand the Attributes field, select the required attribute, and click Add.

    • Calendar ID/Calendar Name – Enter the calendar ID and Name

    • Description – Enter the description of calendar

    • Duration (Hours) – Enter the number of hours per day

    • Start Hour – Enter the Start time of each workday

    • Time zone – Enter the Time zone of the calendar

    • Working [Day of Week] – Working days of the week the calendar requires

  8. Click SAVE and click Preview to view how the calendar is defined in a spreadsheet.

Override or adjust the Standard Calendar

Using Override Calendar, you can make changes or override specific aspects of the original calendar. For example, you can override the original duration, start hour, or make the day as non-working for a specific date.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Configure - Edit Spreadsheet

  2. Select the existing calendar or create a new spreadsheet.

  3. Click Create New

  4. Enter the ID, Name, and select the Type as Calendar Override.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click the Columns tab and then click Add New Column

  7. Expand the Attributes field, select the required attribute, and click Add.

    • Calendar ID: Enter the ID of the original calendar that requires an override

    • Override Date: Specify a date for which you need to create adjustment.

    • Is Working:

      • If this is enabled, it overrides the standard calendar with the values specified in the "Duration (Hours)", "Start Hour", or "Start Minute" for the override calendar.

      • If this is disabled, it overrides the working day in the standard calendar as a non-working day.

    • Duration (Hours) - If you want to override the Duration Hours for a standard calendar, ensure "Is Working" is enabled.

    • Start Hour - If you want to override the Duration Hours for a standard calendar, ensure "Is Working" is enabled.

    • Start Minute - If overriding the Duration Hours for a standard calendar, ensure "Is Working" is enabled.

    • Description - Enter the description of the override.

  8. Click and Save click Preview to view how the calendar is defined in a spreadsheet.
