You can configure the FTR server using the FTR Server Configuration command in the Desktop Client. The FTR server configuration object is used to configure various settings and preferences used by FTR for its associated site. You can configure the indexing mode of collections, Boolean operator symbols, locale settings, FTR main server host, and so on.

In the Desktop Client, click Administration > FTR > Server Configuration.

Right-click the FTR server configuration object, and click Update on the shortcut menu.

Change the FTR server configuration settings as appropriate.

Click Finish to save your changes.
