Our instructional design teams actively maintain our training to keep it up to date with current product releases and to integrate continuous improvements. When a major software version is released, or when an entirely new approach to delivering training is required, we may replace existing courses and learning paths with entirely new training.
-
When this happens, we will always release the new training first, then we will add [superseded] to the beginning of the title of the training that is being replaced.
-
When a product version is no longer being supported, and therefore is no longer valuable, we will add [archived] to the tile of the training for this product and retire it.
Both superseded and archived training will be removed from your group’s training catalog so it will no longer be found in searches or available for assignment to those learners who have not already enrolled in it.
However, it will continue to be available for learners who have enrolled in it, or who have completed the training. They can still either complete their training, or after completion, return to it for review.
Within the overview section of superseded courses and learning paths, we will also provide hyperlinks to the replacement training, where appropriate.
