On the Child CUs tab of the Compatible Units Library screen, a user can define more complex hierarchical relationships between the header record and other compatible units library records. On this tab, both Child CU and Quantity are required fields. Only compatible units library records that are of a lower hierarchical level than the header record will be displayed in the Child CU lookup on this tab (i.e. if the header record is of hierarchical level 1, the lookup will show records of hierarchical levels 2-6; but if the header record is of hierarchical level 3, the lookup will show records of hierarchical levels 4, 5 and 6).
As with the Labor, Parts, Tools and Services tabs, the Child CUs tab of the Compatible Units Library screen provides the ability for the user to associate child CU records according to a specific Action Type.
