Equipment categories have been setup to further sub-classify equipment under classes. For the Medical Equipment class, there are categories including Therapeutic –Life Support, Diagnostic – Surgical and Analytical Laboratory. For the Utility Systems classes, there are categories for Infections Control, Environment Support or Equipment Support.
