Acceptance |
A work order used for the initial inspection of equipment. An asset number should be attached to this work order. |
Corrective |
A work order which involves correcting a failure that has occurred or is in the process of occurring. This activity may consist of repair, restoration or replacement of components. |
Administrative Duties / Training |
A work order for documenting clerical time not included with another work order. In most cases, clerical time should be included within another work order. Training: A work order used to document formal or informal training time. Examples: document manufacturer training schools, in-service education, meeting, etc. |
Electrical Safety Inspection |
A work order to document that an electrical safety inspection has been completed. |
Follow-Up |
A work order where a previous work order is being checked for quality and/or satisfaction of the requester. |
Hazard/ Recalls/ Incident |
A work order of this type should be used for incidents or device recalls. |
Inspection / Rounds |
A work order used for documenting technician time spent doing inspections or visiting customer/patient care areas. |
Installation |
A work order where something is being installed. |
Project / Construction / Renovation |
A work order not related to maintenance actions to equipment, but to a specific task or group of tasks. Examples: installing equipment or renovating areas. |
