Assign employees to a specific shift.
Define employees on the Employees form.

Select Work > Setup > Shifts.

Select the shift with which to associate the employee, and then click the Employees tab.

Click Add Employee.

Specify this information:
Employee - Specify the employee working on the shift.
Start Date / End Date - Specify the first and last dates the employee works on the shift.
You can assign an employee to multiple shifts, but the dates of the shifts cannot overlap.

Click Submit.
