Specify authentication approach for an HxGN EAM login type - HxGN EAM - 11.07.01 - Feature Briefs - Hexagon

HxGN EAM has these different login types:

• Web users login

• Connector/web services login

• Mobile users login

• Integration/Databridge login

In addition to accessing HxGN EAM using web browsers (Web users), users can access HxGN EAM through HxGN EAM Mobile or HxGN EAM web services. HxGN EAM allows you to specify the login authentication method for these types of logins. You will need to set the value to EXTERN for using SSO with ADFS. You will need to set the value to LDAP for using LDAP authentication. You will need to set the value to STD for using the credential defined on the user's records in HxGN EAM.

When using SSO with ADFS, you also need to install a Plug-In component into the Infor® Security server. This is required to allow Infor Security server to accept authentication requests from HxGN EAM for any non-web browser-based access.

Follow these steps to set up HxGN EAM Login Type:

1. Open the Install Parameters form.

2. Set the value for these install parameters according to this table.
