It is important to note that any Main Isolation solution is dependent upon the accuracy and correctness of the data summarized in the Main Isolation tables. If the values populated into the Main Isolation tables is incorrect or becomes out-of-date in relation to the features displayed in the Mains/Valves layers (i.e. additional GIS features are integrated as EAM equipment records; but the base Main Isolation tables are not subsequently updated), then the application may either not be able to calculate a solution, or the solution presented may not be the most accurate/correct solution possible. It is essential that the system administrator maintains synchronization of GIS features/HxGN EAM equipment records and loads any updated information to the Main Isolation tables in the HxGN EAM system as required.

Do note that all four Main Isolation tables also contain two additional field, xxx_lastsaved and xxx_updatecount, which are standard EAM table fields; however, are not relevant for use of the Main Isolation feature.

A user will indicate to download the Main Isolation tables as part of the initial Sync Config settings for the HxGN EAM Mobile for Transit application; by selecting the ‘Download Main Isolation tables’ checkbox. For a user who had already performed the initial sync of the mobile app data without downloading the Main Isolation tables; this setting may also be changed at any time by selecting Settings > Sync Config from the Menu, and the Main Isolation tables will be downloaded during the next sync operation.
