Main Isolation mode may be invoked from within the Map View screen of HxGN EAM Mobile for Transit application; provided that all basic setup requirements described previously have been completed (i.e. specification of valid installation parameter values; download of main isolation tables).
To invoke main isolation mode, the user must first select a single feature from the layer defined as the Mains layer (through the MOBGIMLR installation parameter); and in corresponding EAM Equipment Attributes panel that is displayed, must then choose the ‘Isolate Main’ option. This new option will appear in addition to other options for the EAM Equipment attributes panel (i.e. View Equipment, Add Work Order, View/Add Nonconformity, Search Around) only for features which are a part of the Mains layer.
Main isolation mode cannot be invoked by selecting feature(s) from the Valves layer
(MOBGIVLR).
In main isolation mode, the following icons/buttons in the Map View screen will be disabled: I Am Here/Find My Location; Search; Create Feature.
