To gain access to the application, it is required the app user enter a valid User ID and Password combination. The following options are available to configure with the HxGN EAM application for password management:

HxGN EAM for Transit app also supports the user logging in directly using customer specified IdP with OAuth. In this scenario, the app does not have access to the user’s credentials, nor does it store the credentials on the device. The app receives a token to access data from the HxGN EAM application server. The customer can specify their user token’s expiration period and refresh token period (as defined in Infor OS) ION-API. This mode can only be used when a connection to the server is available; it is not available in offline mode. Use the "Use ION API for Authentication" option to enable this functionality.
