The Operator Checklist tab on the Screen Setup screen can be used to specify the default values and behavior for the Operator Checklist screen. Ensure that you have selected the appropriate screen on the record view of the Screen Setup screen. It must be the Operator Checklist screen (WSOPCL) or a clone of that screen. Once you have selected the correct header record, the tab will allow entry of setup data and has the following important attributes:

  1. Equipment Class - Depending on the equipment selected a different checklist may be required. The bus driver, for example, needs to go through a different set of questions for the bus, than the crane driver or the train engineer. By selecting an Equipment Class, you can specify the behavior of the Operator Checklist screen for a group of equipment at once.

For Equipment that does not have a class specified, you can use the * Class in the * Organization.

  2. Task Plan - Select the task plan you would like the operator to use for the equipment of the selected Equipment Class. You can associate more than one task plan to the same equipment class. This means the operator must choose which task plan to use. It may not be ideal to have the operator select from a list of more than one option, but a short list is better than a complete list of task plans for the work order planner to choose from.

  3. Default - If you select default, the task plan will automatically default on the operator checklist after the operator enters equipment and the class of that equipment matches the class on this record.

The system allows more than one default for the same Equipment Class. Infor strongly recommends that you only use one default. With multiple defaults, the system will still pick one task plan from the selected defaults, but the selection will be random.

  4. Complete Status - System Codes status entity ‘OPST’. Select the status the operator checklist will have after the operator clicks the ‘Move to Complete’ button. See Operator Checklist screen. The following system statuses are available.

    • ‘Unfinished’ - This is the status where operator checklist data can be changed. Please note that this means the operator checklist remains under control of the operator and is not moved to review or complete.

    • ‘Review’ - This status removes control from the operator and sends the checklist results to the Review Operator Checklist screen where a review can be performed. See the Review Operator Checklist section later in this document for more information.

    • ‘Complete’ - This status removes control from the operator and freezes the checklist results with a completed status. The review process is bypassed with this status.

  5. Cancel Status - System Codes status entity ‘OPST’. Select the status the operator checklist will have after the operator clicks the ‘Move to Cancel’ button See Operator Checklist screen. The following system statuses are available.

    • ‘Cancelled’ - This status removes control from the operator and freezes the checklist results with a cancelled status. The review process is bypassed with this status.
