Configuration is like that of the Line Chart widget. Select a Query Code from the list. The system will default the Widget Title from the Description of the selected query, but you can overwrite this with a personalized title if you prefer.
The system will also let you define:
-
The width of the map. Width is used to calculate the size of the cells. If more cells, i.e. columns, are included in the query, the cells will become smaller if the width is not also increased. The system uses a calculated default, but feel free to add your own if you do not like the default results.
-
The height which mainly influences the distance between the rows. The system uses a calculated default, but feel free to add your own if you do not like the default results.
-
Color used in the Heat Map. If nothing is specified, the default is blue.
-
Shape of the cells in the Heat Map. If nothing is specified, the default is rectangle.
Instead of a Query Code it is also possible to use a grid. Select a Grid Name and then a Dataspy.
