Current and potential users have expressed interest in maintaining a database of historical and current (actual) Degree Days by Region. The ultimate goal is to understand the relationship between Degree Days and energy consumption and the resulting carbon emission. Once this relationship is understood, it will serve to better the understanding of the Degree Days factor in current and projected energy usage / carbon emission
