 Description

When creating a transaction prompt in the Transaction Type screen, and adding 100 (or any number higher than 80) as the maximum length and when it is processed in the Prompt Machine screen and checking the value in Monitor Interface the value is truncated to 80 characters. This can be replicated in the customer’s environment.

1. Go to DC Transaction Prompts screen.

2. Select any existing record.

3. Change the Maximum Length of the field (Ex: Description) to something bigger than the existing value. Example: 80 to 85 and save the record.

4. Go to the Prompt Machine screen.

5. Select the transaction type of record used in step#2.

6. Enter any text which has more than 80 chars in the field(Description) for which the size was changed at step#3.

7. Enter values for all other mandatory fields and save the record.

8. Select the saved record and click 'Process Transactions'.

9. Go to the Monitor Interface screen.

10. Select the record which is processed in the Prompt Machine screen.

11. Navigate to the Error Correction tab.

*Actual Results:* Description (field which is used at step#3) is not showing complete text and is showing only 80 characters of text.

*Expected Results*: Description field should display the complete text of 85 chars.
