For the permit to work expiration functionality to work the following needs to be done:

  1. Set Organization Option PTWEXPIR. This option determines which permit to work will automatically expire if Valid Until is in the past:

    • If ‘ACTIVE,’ only active permits will expire.

    • If 'ALL', any permit that is not closed or cancelled will expire.

  2. Activate the Permit to Work driver (PTWDRV). This job will automatically change the permit to work status and set it to expired.
