When the system status is changed, the following system response occurs:

System Response

Approved

Populates Date Approved to be equal to the current system date (consider Organization Server Time Offset).

Protects all fields on this screen except Status and Claim Description. If a user attempts to modify the protected fields in Part Warranty Claim via the web service, the system raises an error.

Response Received

Protects all fields on this screen except Status, Claim Description and Date Resolved. If a user attempts to modify the protected fields in Part Warranty Claim via the web service, the system raises an error.

Completed

Protects all fields except Status. If a user attempts to modify the protected fields in Part Warranty Claim via the web service, the system raises an error.

Creates a Receipt record for each part with a Settlement Replacement Qty. listed on the Parts tab for Part Warranty Claim. System will use the following values:

Clears Date Resolved.

Unprotects all fields except Date Resolved, Organization, and Date Filed. If the user attempts to modify any protected fields via the web service, the system raises an error.
