Installing the Database - HxGN NetWorks - 11.01.2501 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

The HxGN NetWorks Comms data model is provided on support request. It provides the sample database template that you can use as a starting point.

You can request three database templates:

1. Fiber Core – basic fiber features and functionality

   • If you need to start the database with the minimum number of fiber features and their related features, you can load the Fiber Core template.

   • The core template is installed by downloading a DMP file. The installation instruction is provided with the DMP file.

2. Fiber Path Manager – basic fiber features and functionality with Path Manager

   • If you need to start the database with the minimum number of fiber features and their related features, along with Path Manager, you can load the Path Manager template.

3. Fiber Circuit Manager – basic fiber features and functionality with Path Manager and Circuit Manager

   • If you need to start the database with the minimum number of fiber features and their related features (along with Path Manager and Circuit Manager), you can load the Fiber Circuit manager template.
