View SAP Netweaver Portal from an SDx - HxGN SDx - v10 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

Update the server and client number details on the methods

1. Click Find > Administration > Method. For example: Search for the LaunchFLOCinSAP method.

2. Right-click <MethodName> > Update.

   The available methods are:

   Method Name	Function
   LaunchFLOCinSAP	Allows the display of a FLOC in SAP from a Tag in SDx.
   	Allows the display of a FLOC in SAP from a FLOC in SDx.
   LaunchEquipinSAP	Allows the display of an Equipment in SAP from an Asset in SDx.
   LaunchWOfromWP	Allows the display of a work order in SAP from a work package in SDx.
   LaunchNotificationfromWP	Allows the display of a notification in SAP from a work package in SDx.
   LaunchFLOC from FLOC	Allows the display of a FLOC in SAP from a FLOC stub object in SDx.
   LaunchNetweaverfromNotification	Allows the display of a notification in SAP from a notification stub object in SDx.

3. In the Method details section, update the SAP server name and the client number according to the SAP system details in the URL or Page bar, and click Finish. For example: http://<ServerName>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*il03%20IFLO-TPLNR%3D~Obj.SPXSAPTechID~&amp;DYNP_OKCODE=SHOW&amp;~theme=sap_tradeshow&amp;<sap-client=ClientNumber>

Verify stub objects in SAP

Log on to the Web Client with the required role or roles.

For FLOC on Tags

1. Click Tags, Assets and Models > Tags.

2. On the method of the synchronized FDW tag, click Actions > View FLOC in SAP.

For FLOC from FLOC

1. Click Tags, Assets and Models > Tags.

2. On the method of the synchronized FDW tag, click Actions > See Relationships > Show Functional Location.

3. Click Actions > View FLOC in SAP.

For Equipment on Assets

1. Click Tags, Assets and Models > Assets.

2. On the method of the synchronized asset, click Actions > View Equipment in SAP.

For a Work Order on Work Packages

1. Click Work Packages > Maintenance Work Packages.

2. Select the work package created by a work order, and then click Actions > View Work Order in SAP.

For Notification on Work Packages

1. Click Work Packages > Maintenance Work Packages.

2. Select the work package created by the notification, and then click Actions > View Notification in SAP.

• Using the processes above, you navigate to the SAP Portal. Sign in with valid SAP user credentials.

• You can view either a FLOC, a piece of an Equipment, a work order, or a notification in SAP according to the method updated. The methods are not available to view the following objects in SAP:

  • Non-synchronized Tags

  • Non-synchronized Assets

  • Work packages created in the Web Client.
