You can view and explore the laser scan site and scan details in the Web Client using the Leica TruView Enterprise Panoramic Viewer.

  • View, navigate and zoom across the laser scan site image.

  • View and navigate to a laser scan and its related tags.

  • View and navigate from one laser scan to another laser scan image.

  • Add and relate geotag information to the laser scan.

You will be asked to enter your TruView Enterprise credentials if the laser scan server is created using multi user authentication approach and if you are logging in for the first time. These credentials are provided by the TruView Enterprise administrator and must be typed in the Enter TruView Enterprise Credentials dialog. The credentials provided are valid until the TruView Enterprise server restarts or the refresh token expires.

What is an Authentication approach?

Authentication approach is the validation done, based on the log on type used by HxGN SDx to connect and obtain data from the TruView Enterprise application server.

HxGN SDx supports the following authentication approaches to connect to the TruView server:

  • Single user

  • Multiuser

The type of authentication approach used to validate the user access is decided based on the option selected when the laser scan server object was created.

What is the difference between Single user and Multi user authentication approaches?

HxGN SDx Web Client uses single user account to access the data in TruView Enterprise Server.

HxGN SDx Web Client allows multiple users to access the data in TruView Enterprise Server.

HxGN SDx user credentials are provided and validated when creating the laser scan object using the Web Client. For more information, see Create a laser scan server.

HxGN SDx user needs to enter the credentials in the TruView Enterprise log on window displayed in the Web Client when trying to access the data in TruView Enterprise server.

The credentials are validated only if the user is logging for the first time. The user id asked to re-enter the credentials only when the TruView Enterprise server restarts or the refresh token expires. For more information, see Create a laser scan server.
