Using the Web Client, you can modify and manage objects, such as tags, at the project level without impacting the object's data at the plant level. You do this by claiming objects from the plant level into a project level configuration or by unclaiming objects which releases objects from the project level without making any changes to the plant level objects.
When you claim the objects:

The current object is marked as the source for a claim.

The claimed objects are marked for change within the project.

Objects with any related items are automatically claimed, depending on their relationship configuration.
Documents are handled differently from objects as they must be revised to a project
