HxGN SDx has powerful information management capability for the safe and efficient management of data held in a database. It accurately records the history of each object modification from its creation to the present time.
As the object history is preserved in the database, you can quickly view the history of attributes for a selected object or a document over their lifetime using the History.
-
Select the object in the results grid, and click Actions > History.
You can also select History from the object or document shortcut hover menu.
Object history
For all objects, the History page opens showing the object's name, creation date, and number of active and historical attributes. Each attribute is listed in a grid view, as shown in the following example for tag CV-2021.
Document history
For all documents, the History page opens with the OVERVIEW tab, where you can view the document name, revision issue date, and number of revisions. The history of changes to the document's revisions, versions, and their attached files are displayed in a train line display in issue date order, with the latest revision displayed on the right. The following example shows the overview for document 01-0000-ENG-000A with the latest Working revision 03A.
You can scroll the train line display to the left to expand the timeline to see any previous revisions. A revision issue date is not displayed by Working revisions until it is signed off as a new Current revision. For more information, see Document overview.
